What to buy in the ASOS Cyber Monday sale

 

Virtual window shopping on ASOS ranks high up there with our favourite hobbies – after all, there is just so much to browse. Finding out exactly what's worth buying can be *pretty* time-consuming (read our Fashion Editor’s tips to navigating the site here). so we started doing our homework on the best buys ahead of time - and luckily for you, we’re happy to share.

There are over 15 000 items that now have an extra 25% mark down - that's a lot to choose from but don't get distracted by items you'll wear once and never again. These Puma trainers, this maroon borg jacket or this black blazer are all classic pieces you'll wear season after season - no buyers remorse here.

For trend-led pieces, that are currently up to 70% off, this quilted duvet coat has a very Toteme-esque feel to it and is now only £45 (was £60) - and we think it'll quickly become a wardrobe staple. If you're in the market for a dress, we love this denim puff sleeve style which is almost 50% off - perfect for layering up in winter, you'll still get plenty of use out of it when temperatures start to rise. In other words, trends don't need to be avoided altogether - but focus on pieces that you know will fit in with your existing wardrobe. A good rule of thumb is to think of *at least* three items in your wardrobe you can style the new purchase with before you hit add to bag.

 

We're also big fans of finding items on sale that can form part of a capsule wardrobe. These black, straight cut jeans are so good (in fact we can't belive they're still in the sale) and this lightweight, draped &other stories blazer.
