Blonde hair is *the* hair colour we're all going to be asking for in salon

2020 may not have gone entirely to plan (understatement of the century), but whatever else next year has in store for us we're absolutely certain that 2021 is going to be seriously major for some of our favourite labels.

How can we be so sure?

While the end of a year often encourages us to look back over the previous twelve months, we think that there's something to be said for looking forward.

As, it seems, do the team at Global fashion search platform, Lyst, who - having reviewed the searches, views and sales of 100 million shoppers - dedicated a large proportion of their annual 'Year in Review' to a prospective look at 2021.

Keen to get ahead of the game? Here is where the sartorial stars are heading for 2021...

1. PARIS GEORGIA

Search Volume: +25% over the last six months

Founded in 2015 by friends Paris Mitchell and Georgia Cherrie, New Zealand-based contemporary womenswear label, Paris Georgia, is known and loved by the fashion crowd for its simple, slip-like staples and devotion to the female silhouette. Utterly timeless in its design, this brand already counts the likes of Kendall Jenner, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Hailey Bieber and even Jacinda Ardern as big fans.

2. CHOPOVA LOWENA

Search Volume: +33% over the last six months

sustainably minded London-based, Bulgarian-made brand headed up by friends Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena who met at Central Saint Martins in 2011, Chopova Lowena feels as though it were made for London Fashion Week with its instantly-recognisable use of patchwork prints and metal hardware. Having been worn by none other than Madonna and Michaela Coel this year, landing pages in Harry Styles' December Vogue cover story will have certainly helped propel this brand forward.

3. MEDEA

Search Volume: +40% over the last six months

A bag brand you've no doubt stumbled across several times on your Instagram feed already, Milan-based Medea was founded in 2018 by former model twins Giulia and Camilla Venturini. Minimalist in design and reminiscent of the everyday shopping bag, they've already gained an influential fan-base with the likes of Adwoa Aboah, Gigi Hadid and Priyanka Chopra all having been spotted carrying one.
